The stay was really enjoyable, especially due to the prime location that made it easy to explore the charming downtown area. The pastries served for breakfast were a delightful treat, and the comfy beds helped ensure we had a restful night's sleep. the bathroom could have used a proper cleaning and there was no phone in our room, which was a bit inconvenient.

Oh man, the baked apples at Fresco Valley Cafe were a game changer! Plus, being right in downtown means you can hit up Good Seed Coffee for an iced brew whenever you want. Gotta love the comfy beds that ensure you wake up refreshed and ready to explore this charming spot!
Our bathroom floor could've used a serious deep clean—yikes! And the phone in our room was MIA when I tried to ring the front desk for some extra towels.

king frederik inn was super comfy n clean, perfect location in town. the continental breakfast had yummies like danish n fruit. Coffee 24/7. staff was really nice n helpful, especially with restaurant tips! the beautiful xmas lights made the visit feel even more special. loved the cozy bed with plenty of blankets!
the only downside was the noise from other guests which woke me up a few times. also, the pool was too cold for me to swim in during my visit.

I stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveler exploring the beautiful sites in Solvang. The location was fantastic, making it super easy to walk to places like the Wildling Museum and Solvang Park. I especially loved how comfortable the bed was. I was able to get a great night’s sleep. However, the bathroom was a bit small and the parking situation felt cramped at times.

The nearby Good Seed Coffee was a treasure trove for coffee lovers, serving up artisanal brews that are an absolute must-try! Plus, the central location made wandering to delicious spots like Bacon & Brine and Fresco Valley Cafe a tasty adventure. Comfy beds were a welcome bonus after a day of exploring Solvang.
But, let's spill some tea here, the pillows were a tad hard for my tastes, and the bathroom windows were as high as the sky! Warnings on the steep parking lot entrance would be wise. I nearly bottomed out my car! Still, quirks aside, it’s a gem worth uncovering.

would happily go back again
The room had comfy beds and was really clean. It had a mini-fridge and a flat-screen TV. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is spot on, right in the heart of town, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Free Wi-Fi worked well too.

missingWrote a review on 16 Novawkward layout
While the room offered good basics, the bathroom layout felt awkward with a door separating the toilet from the sink—a bit cramped for comfort. Thin walls allowed for more noise travel than I prefer, which can be distracting during the night. Breakfast options lacked protein, consisting primarily of pastries that may not suit everyone's dietary needs, and the pool towels were quite small and basic.
